Bournemouth is very cosmopolitan and has theatres, cinemas, night
clubs, pubs, restaurants serving food from around the world, sports
centres and gyms and many internet cafes.
The 12 kilometres of sandy beaches have the European blue-flag for cleanliness
and are safe for swimming, sailing, surfing and jet-skiing. Many famous
pop groups come to the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) to give
concerts. Bournemouth has a very mild climate, even in winter. |
London is only two hours away from Bournemouth by train or coach.
Other famous cities, such as Oxford, Cambridge, Salisbury, Bristol
and Bath are also easy to reach on one of our day trips.
Poole is very near to Bournemouth and has the second largest natural
harbour in the world. There are ferries to Cherbourg in France and to
the Channel Islands. |
Near to Bournemouth is the famous New
Forest, where wild ponies, deer and cattle wander around freely.
The coast and the countryside around Bournemouth are very beautiful
and popular with tourists from Britain and abroad.

airports. The school is only a 5 minute taxi ride from Bournemouth's
main railway and bus stations. |
